This policy governs cancellations, refunds and withdrawal for purchases made through the Site and forms an integral part of the T&C.
1. Design services (Project only and Project + Furniture)
The design service is personalised and is delivered by handing over the output (e.g. PDF). Once the Project has been delivered in the final version provided for by the package purchased, the service is considered performed and no refund of the fee for the service is provided, save for the mandatory remedies provided by law in the event of non-performance or non-conformity of the service.
- Review and approval: the Customer reviews the Project through the output delivered (e.g. PDF) and may request the revisions included in the package.
- Immediate start of the service (B2C): if the Consumer requests performance during the withdrawal period, they acknowledge that, on completion of the service, they will lose the right of withdrawal within the limits of the law.
- Withdrawal before completion (where permitted): in the event of withdrawal before completion, an amount proportionate to the work already performed may be retained.
2. Cancellation of furniture orders and costs (goods)
For goods and furniture ordered from third-party suppliers, the possibility of cancellation depends on the processing status of the order.
- Before the order is placed with the supplier: the Seller assesses the cancellation; any payment or handling charges already incurred may be retained.
- After the order is placed or once production has started: cancellation may not be possible; where it is, the costs or penalties imposed by the supplier apply (e.g. restocking, reconditioning, transport).
3. Consumer right of withdrawal (B2C)
If you buy as a Consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without having to give any reason. The period starts:
- for goods, from the day on which you or a third party designated by you receive the last item in the order (in the case of staggered deliveries, from the last delivery);
- for design services, from the day the contract is concluded.
3.1 How to exercise withdrawal
You can use the online withdrawal function available on the page Withdraw from the contract, or send an explicit declaration to studio@archadedesign.com or by certified email to archadedesignsolutions@pec.it, stating the order number, the date, the goods concerned and your details. You may use the model form given in point 7, but it is not compulsory. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium without undue delay.
3.2 How we handle the return
The furniture is shipped directly from the suppliers warehouses, but we are your only point of contact: we open the case with the supplier and the courier and tell you the return address, how collection works and the references to put on the packages. Do not ship the goods before you have received these instructions, because a return sent to the wrong address can be lost. The fact that the goods come from third-party suppliers does not reduce your rights in any way: we are the seller and we are responsible for withdrawal and warranty.
3.3 Return of the goods and costs
The goods must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, suitably packaged and in a condition that allows them to be put back into normal stock. The direct costs of return are borne by the Customer; as these are furniture items, the cost for bulky packages can be significant and is estimated on request before shipping. You are responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
3.4 Refund
We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, using the same payment method used for the purchase and with no additional charge. If you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard one, the extra costs are not refundable. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or until you provide proof that you have sent them.
3.5 When withdrawal does not apply
Under art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, withdrawal is excluded, among other cases, for:
- goods made to measure or clearly personalised (custom furniture, finishes or sizes made to order);
- services fully performed, where performance began with your express agreement and your acceptance of the consequent loss of the right of withdrawal;
- goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
If you withdraw before a service already started at your request is completed, you will be charged an amount proportional to what has already been carried out.
4. Legal warranty of conformity
Regardless of withdrawal, as a Consumer you are entitled to the legal warranty of conformity of 24 months from delivery, with the right to repair or replacement free of charge and, in the cases provided by law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. The warranty is provided by Archade: we coordinate with the manufacturer or the service centre, and you do not need to contact the supplier.

5. Transport damage and missing packages
At the time of delivery, check the number of packages and the condition of the packaging. In the event of anomalies, sign with a specific reservation on the courier document and photograph the packages and labels. Report visible damage or missing packages within 24 hours of delivery and hidden damage within 48 hours, writing to studio@archadedesign.com. The mandatory legal remedies on conformity of goods remain unaffected.
6. Staggered deliveries
Where there are several suppliers or items with different lead times, deliveries may be staggered; any requests relating to the goods (returns and refunds, where applicable) are handled item by item within the legal time limits.
